My bff James Butterworth (jspencer1986) has just released his new EP entitled Songs for Kahlan: Tales of an Unrequited Love. That's right, Legend of the Seeker fans, this is a labor of love injected with that fannish passion we know so well. In fact, all five songs are of the Cara/Kahlan persuasion, and like that pairing, they are all made of win.

He's doing a very limited cd release for this, so if you're interested in a hard copy, you can place a pre-order through his website. Obviously I'm a bit biased considering I've known and loved these songs since their inception, but tracks 1 and 3 are easily in my top 5 James songs ever. He's poured his heart and soul into this EP, and it really shows.
