So a couple days ago, a very dear friend of mine was very depressed. I was very worried for her, and tried my hardest to cheer her up, but nothing seemed to work, and eventually she got offline. I found out later that shortly after that, when she was feeling really depressed, she was looking through a book of pictures from Alaska I’d sent her when I picture I drew for her fell out from between the pages. She said it cheered her up immensely, and when we were talking, she sounded great. I’m still not sure why I hid it in the book in the first place. Ostensibly to keep it from being crumpled, but even when I was doing it I felt that there was more reason than that. My question for you: why did it have to fall out right then? Why was she looking through that particular book at that time? Why didn’t she discover it sooner? I’m so glad it cheered her up. God is so amazing....
