I insulted a very dear friend of mine this afternoon by taking something she’d said about herself comforting me as someone else claiming they’d been comforting me (Stupid me asked when the quote was from, because I didn’t think she’d (the someone else, though I just said “she”) offered me any sort of comfort in a long time. So yeah, I hurt her/insulted her deeply just because stupid me didn’t take the extra three seconds to double-check and make sure it was the right person. *sighs* Sometimes I wonder if I don’t have a subconscious death-wish or something.
