The Fourth Sin, Saturday Afternoon

Jul 15, 2006 15:58

Jarod was in the kitchen, and following a few news stories on his encrypted laptop to see if they turned into anything or didn't ring quite true. This was complicated considerably by the cat napping on it. He had yet to notice anything out of the ordinary.

[ooc: Open to all]

the sin, hush weekend

GOB walked into the Sin after an annoying phone call and didn't shout, "I can't speak! I can say whatever the hell I want and you can't hear me!"

Becky rolled her eyes and held up her whiteboard.

Hi. I can't hear you.

"I know," GOB mouthed. "Now I can't say things that would make you chase me with a shoe."

Becky narrowed her eyes and - very generously, she thought - offered him her whiteboard.

GOB took the white board and wrote, Hi. So it's not just me?

GOB thought for a moment and asked an important question.

Are any of the girls with customers and we just can't hear them?

Becky shook her head again and took the board back.

Too early. Though normally we can hear Carmen & Daisy. This is weird.

GOB looked upstairs in the direction of Carmen and Daisy's room. The thought of completely silent sex going on up there was strange and perhaps a little distracting.

He took the board back. Yeah. Disease? Town being a dick? Any idea?

Jarod's GF says demons.

She shrugged.

GOB read the white board and blinked.

So, do you mind if I spend the night?

He was trying not to look like he was in it mainly for the protection you can only get by being around a bunch of heavily armed hookers.

I'll even let you hold an unloaded gun if you want she said, because she knew perfectly well why he was staying.

Kinky, he wrote, giving a smirk because he wasn't letting on about why he was staying.

Becky rolled her eyes.

No, none of that. It's creepy.

"Thank God," he mouthed.

Too bad, he wrote. And then, with no segue whatsoever:

Have you killed any of the demons?

Not yet

She looked rather sad about this.
