Here is, apparently, Molly Seagrim, looking much more serious than is her custom. She's looking for someone, in the main hallway, with no apparent success thus far.

It isn't, in fact, Molly... but given Molly's set of acquaintances, there are any number of people who might kiss first and discover crackplot second.

Tom is in a good mood for once. He has spent a long time out by himself in the woods, he's hunted, explored, he even has some stubble. All in all, quite the intrepid and happy Tom. So happy and back to normal that the first thing he does upon seeing Molly is kiss her. A very long and passionate kiss.

And Molly, who is really Richard, is surprised and a bit overwhelmed and can't help but kiss him back, under the circumstances.

Tom keeps up the kiss for quite a bit longer before pulling back and pinching her playfully. "Hullo, Molly."

She winces a bit. "...hello, Tom." And he can probably immediately tell something is up. The accent, even for those two words, is all wrong.

He blinks. "...What's the matter?"

"Magic, as always. I'm... I'm afraid I'm not Molly."

"Then... who are you?"

[jarndyceheir]

She takes a few steps back. "Perhaps I should just go. I'm sure the enchantment will wear off before too long."

"Wait. I should know who I just kissed." Except it felt entirely familiar,

She bites her lip. "Tom..."

"Yes, Mo- ...Yes?"

She colors a bit, and looks down. "It's Richard."

"Oh." He half backs up. "I'm sorry."

[jarndyceheir]

"No, it's not - you couldn't have known." She wraps her arms around herself. "You look well, though."

Tom nods. "Thank you. So do you, sir... miss... umm... I should go."

"Back to wherever you've been? ...sorry."
