Crackplotted once again (open)

Richard hasn't yet noticed that he's crackplotted. There's nothing, in fact, to indicate it to him yet except for the nagging feeling that he's forgotten something.

He's not yet realized that he's forgotten more or less everything.

And so he's currently heading towards the kitchen, to fix himself a snack.

Tom is already in the kitchen trying to make a sandwich. "Hello, Rick." He doesn't even bother looking up that much.

He looks about to see if the man is addressing someone else, possibly. Then he says "Rick?" quietly, almost to himself, as if testing it out.

"Yes. Do you not like me calling you that anymore? I can stop."

[jarndyceheir]

"...this is terribly embarrassing, but I'm afraid I don't recall. Is Rick my name, then?"

"Of course it is. Richard Carstone." Tom looks worried. "Are you feeling all right?"

[jarndyceheir]

"I... I don't feel ill, but I..." He looks a bit shaken, though he's trying to put on a brave front. "I'm afraid I've not the faintest idea how I came to be here."

Tom is starting to get a bit nervous. "Do you know who I am?"

He tries, he does, but he shakes his head after a moment. "I'm sorry."

"It's me, Tom. Your friend. Your-- best friend..."

Typist: Earlier Set magic still applies?

"Ah. I... I'm afraid I cannot recall anything about myself, much less you. Pray forgive me." He puts a hand to his forehead.

T: Oh yes. As does Morgan's modification, as does the Gentleman with thistle-down hair's enchantment. Poor Richard is just enchanted to the hilt. U_U

Forgive Tom for rushing up and hugging him. "Oh, Richard! Did you hit your head on anything? Do you want some tea? Perhaps you need to lie down?"

Richard doesn't pull away, but he doesn't return it either. "I don't remember hitting my head, but I believe that that was rather the problem."

"You should lie down. I can tell you things but I don't want to confuse you."

[jarndyceheir]

"Perhaps. I don't feel ill." He looks about. "Where are we?"

"Just a mansion. I don't know where it is. But you're from London originally."

[jarndyceheir]

"I... I think I remember London, vaguely, though I'm not sure whether I can recall being anywhere specific. Where are you from, then?"
