I probably would have never ever grown as much as I have without child number four coming along, and most people don't seem to want more than two! I was forced to look at his struggles and how to best help him and in the process found myself and my missed diagnosis. Something I should have learned from child two, but just couldn't wrap my brain around, popped right out at me until eventually, I couldn't deny it anymore. This realization has not only helped me, but also child number three and especially child two! (And if course four) Amazing the benefits of many children that people are denying themselves! Nobody told me this would happen, but I shudder to think where I'd be if it hadn't.
