I found myself stressed out today. Bills. Then, I checked my mail and, ta-daa! My tax refund had arrived. I am saved. For now, anyway. LOL. Silly me.

Now, I just need to let it all settle so I can sleep. I'm drinking lemon flavored selzer water my mother had originally bought for herself only to discover she doesn't like it. It's delicious. Funny thing is, earlier today, I'd had lemon flavored italian ice and thought it was too sour. But, now, I'm loving the selzer water. Maybe it was my mood. I'd love to try it again to see if I really don't like it or it was just being stressed. Yeah, I'm a nerd like that.

Let's see... What am I up to? Well, I've been reading Ben Franklin's autobiography and learning Juliet's lines from Romeo & Juliet. I've been listening to an audio play of Romeo & Juliet in the car. Tennant plays Mercutio! Grin. I find it's his tracks that I like to repeat. You know, like the Queen Mab bit, the part where he "conjures" Romeo, and, of course, Mercutio's death. It's the first time I've enjoyed those parts with such enthusiasm. He did good. The woman who plays Juliet, however... Well, I interpret the part differently than she does. She does anguish well, but she seems to use it too much. I see Juliet as more of a woman-child, innocent with a capital I. She's not even 14 after all, and she does & says some childish things. I'd have played her a bit lighter (at least until Romeo slays Tybalt & is banished). Even so, I'm loving the audio play. It'll probably be all I play in my car for quite some time.

Speaking of which, I had it going while I went through the drive thru at McDonald's. Here I am, paying for my dollar menu McChicken sandwich & Mercutio is dying. LOL. For me it's normal, just something I'm enjoying in my car, but from an outsider's perspective... Well, I quickly realized this & apologized. The drive thru clerk got a kick out of it.
