Change is Green

Theres a time in everyones life where they make a decision that changes their life completly. The next three weeks will be that time for me.

In the next three weeks I am choosing where and what I will be doing with my life.
Should I continue to pursue Acting and Writing? Shold I get back into the science field?
Will I move in with Tyler? Will I stay in the US?

Recently I have gotten more and more into the Green movement, Hopefully I will be getting a job as a publicist for the Make a Difference campaign which in turn will change my life pretty drastically, I would be moving to the city to be closer to the main office in Manhattan.

There are so many things that will be changing for me in the next month that I know I will be stressing out about, so much so that I felt I needed to write a bit down first. Thats another thing is that I joined a writing website that advertises and pays you for your work. So for short essays on things such as easy ways to go green I would get payed for and thats just extra money in the bank to be used for later when I know I wont have three jobs. Thats right, three...
Im so tired of working and Im only twenty! Bloody hell. Both the Casino and Barnes and Noble are great jobs, however with the gas prices where they are I cant afford to be driving out to the casino, it takes an hour just to pay the gas to get there and home! Barnes and Noble just doesnt pay me enough to work there anymore. The discounts that they give are beautiful but honestly its not paying out in the end because I dont have the spare money to spend on the books anymore.

Right now I am using a new browser created by the same company as Foxfire, hoever this is a totally green browser that brings you updates and totally integrates your Lj, Face book and flickr together. Tres Chic.

Speaking of green, I think that the hardest thing that the green movement has to deal with is perseption and change. It isnt hard to change your lifestyle so that you are doing green, Not only helping the enviornment but your pocket as well but I had a well learned lesson recently about people's adversion to change.

My parents were away on a trip to aruba for a week and as a suprise, since they were recently trying to figure out ways to save money house wise, I decided to go out and buy a few things to help greenify the house. CDL lights were put into the most used lights in the house, I bought a water filter for the tap so that my mother didnt have to buy the big bottled water any longer (quite a pretty penny) and I also placed a slim trashcan prettily labeled Recycling nicely out of the way in the kitchen because no one was doing their part. When my mother returned however, I was greeted with hostiliy and anger about the fact that things had changed and that she didnt want change. Does this make sense? How can we save money by continuing to do the same things over and over again? Change is needed to protect our bank accounts and the planet.

Please wake up!
