I counted out my piggy bank today. £5 in 5p pieces, which is going to the bank, £2.50 in £1s and a 50p, and another £1.20 in miscellaeneous change.
Washed my hair in the sink, purely because I can (shower head attachement helps). Going to go into town soon to pick up my bike, soon as my hair is nicely waxed (I have discovered wax; wax is good).
My financial aid came through; the goverment is paying for two math courses - and the Welsh language one!
Government funding for learning Welsh, get in.
I also get a £255 grant for "study expenses".
And yesterday, I moved my furniture around. I'm sitting on an actual chair to use my desk, instead of my bed. My legs are thanking me for not crushing them. My bed is now in a little corner, protected by my chest of drawers. It's like a little cot. It's very comfy. I've realised that I tend to bury myself right in the corner when my bed is more exposed, and last night, I just stretched out. Was brilliant. I'm still clambering over the last few piles of stuff because I lost interest halfway through, but I'll get to that.
