Last night.. at the Gusman theatre.
First of all.. the Gusman.. WOW!
amazing theatre... beats any other theatre.. only problem is the seats being to close the row in front of them.
Jianna looked stunning in her red dress.
I scored extra tickets so Cas and Lucy could come with us. Jianna and I rode there with Richard and Letty.
I was excited to go see the premiere of a movie. Usually i get to see a prescreening of a movie cuz i have a friend that works at The falls movies.. or sunset.
But this was nice.. free soda and snacks... and if you wish.. alcohol as well, for a price.
We all pretty much dressed up.. we walked from the Miami dade college parking (free parking) and arrived..
We had to wait a little while but we were able to get decent seats... next time we have to seat in the balcony though.
There were a few introductions and small speeches from the director and sponsors.
Kathie Sigler was there from Miami-Dade and a spokesperson for the cast.
The film was quite long. 2hrs 45mins. and it was just the first part. It'll start this Sunday with chapter 1 at 8pm. We saw chapters 1, 2 and 3. Movie was set in 1985 and revolved around a few people, some of which contracted HIV. There was a gay couple, one of them jewish. Al Pacino was gay too. and Meryl Streep played a few different roles. There were some funny moments.. and sad ones too. Quite realistic and well done. I enjoyed it but was left incomplete because there were many portions of the story left untold.. I guess i have to see part 2.
Thats pretty much it.
Oh. Got my car back yesterday. runs so much better.. change the tires today too. Now i just need to change the oil and that should be it.
Tomorrow i have a lan party i'm suppose to attend.. but unfortunately my new 80 gig drive hasn't arrived.. grr.. i was hoping to install that damn 120 gig back in my xbox..
though i have the capability to go past the 137gb barrier now.. i can install a 250 gb in the xbox.. i have at least 34 games copied now in my pc.. just need a big drive.
Well i sent an email to staples to inquire about my order..
For now i'll just have a nice night at home with Jianna.
