i am a substitute teacher now.

elementary school kids are obviously much cuter and fun than high schoolers, but i did have a nice little david bowie conversation with a freshman today in my gym class. his favorite album is diamond dogs, by the way.
my favorite kid so far was this second grader in the special ed. class who had the same voice as froggy in the little rascals. he's the kid of guy who will act like a robot one minute and then softly ask you if you're going to heaven like he is the next.
lunchroom duty is the best. kids will raise their hands to tell you things like their father's middle name or ask for napkins with ranch dressing in their eyes.
p.s. we're booking a march tour now. we're going down to tennessee and then up the east coast and back. i'm excited. if you can be of any assistance in us finding shows anywhere on that route, let me know.
