The Comedian, 1/18th scale

I didn’t manage to post this until after midnight… again… thanks to Comcast’s amazingly bad “high-speed” internet.

Anyway, I’ve been looking forward to the Watchmen action figures from the movie, but they aren’t being released for another year. That and they’re the standard 8 inch figures. I prefer my toys to be 3 ¾ inches tall thank you very much. I had doubles of some of the new 25th anniversary G.I. Joes so I figured I’d make a figure of my own, and who better to make than the Comedian?

After dying plastic, gluing, painting, and re-sculpting a tiny head, I ended up with this:

I included his little smiley face button, of course. All that’s left to make is his shoulder pad, boot knife and his billy club.

Looking at the comic, I’d say that I’ve done a pretty good job. Dear God, I have way too much free time.edit: This figure fucking sucks balls. It doesn't look anything like the character, was I high when I posted this? He's a fucking noodle, look at that! The Comedian's a beefy beef burrito, not fettuccini.
