If I learned how to drive 10 years ago then it would have been 10 years of not really using it. And even now that I'm learning, I'm more leaning towards not getting a car. So I don't regret not learning until now that I actually need it for work...
BUT
It's less than ideal to start learning at the same time as starting a new job... As soon as work's done, it's onto driving theory for a few hours. If I wanted to finish as soon as possible so I got my evenings back, then it had to sink in well too and leave nothing to chance.
The combination's frazzled me a bit the last few weeks. But at least I have my evenings and weekends back and revision-free.
50/50 on the multiple choice
72/75 on the hazard perception
98%, baby.
Revision-free evenings, how I've missed you.
