Sharp Like Knives, Be Bad
I picked up Aaron to go to One World cafe at around 5:30. He needed to get there early because he needed Chelsea's pipe to do Salvia Divinoriumn with people that night. We waited for about 45 minutes, during this time Aaron had already managed to bum weed off Charlie and his freinds while I was talking to Stan (Yay Stan!) who had come down to the commons to give Alistair his GameBoi Advance and six games. He ended up coming to the show with me, Aaron walked up to Agricola with us but dragged me back to the commoms after we found out the show wasn't supposed to start until 8. When we got back Chelsea, Kyle Young and some other people were there. I sat for awhile, not really wanting to be sitting there until I got fed up and left... Aaron was kind of being a dick, he knew I wanted to see the show more than doing drugs, plus I was supposed to meet Sam (who ended up getting lost and not finding the venue anyway) up there at around 7 and it was past that by this time.
But yeah, the show itself was amazing. The Ussslr were great, but their set was far too short, they had really good vocals and drums, I need to see them again soon (after they've written more songs maybe?)
Be Bad. Oh my god, they sounded like The Locust and Arab On Radar! <333 And they all dressed in underwear and wore masks. Their image was really bizarre, but actually not as bizarre as the music itself. The vocalist was really giving everything he had, as well as everyone else in the band. The most memorable act of the night for sure. Sam, you would have loved them! Why did you have to miss this show?!
Sharp Like Knives were good like Always, I wish that One World had more dancing room though... Oh well, I sang along to God Damn, and I knew all the words! Probably one of my favorite Halifax bands if not my very favorite. And Paul Hammond is hawt too!
After the show I met up with Aaron outside... He was really out of it, I had this pastry that was stuffed with veggies and chutny sauce and he thought that my hands were melded together... But yeah, Samantha, I must take you to One World someday soon, we'll get some Chai tea (AMAZING) and some yummy veggie soup or some dish, they're great people there and they book amazing acts. Everybody note this little place, so cozy and chill.
After the show I went to Aaron's for a thlumber party!! But I don't feel like writing all the events that took place there. So yeah, I think that's it.
