Characters: Dorian Gray, whoever. Location: Campus, dormitory garden. Time: October 3rd, late morning and continued. Summary: Dorian decides to introduce himself to students by drinking tea in their garden.
Once Niko had settled into his residence, he'd decided to walk the grounds, in order to try to get a better feel for the academy. It's a beautiful place, and he has no doubt that despite the strangeness surrounding it, there are far worse places he could be.
Eventually, the scent of tea draws him into the garden--an already welcoming place made more so by the host nearby. The strength of his presence, combined with the feeling of temptation surrounding him, mean that Niko's instincts don't like this one bit--but there's still something incredibly magnetic about him.
The man's charisma overcomes his misgivings, and he draws near, pours himself a cup of tea, and turns to him with a polite smile. "Excuse me, I don't believe we've met..."
Dorian smiled brightly in response, not surprised in the least by this kind of action. It was easy to act casual in his presence, perhaps that easy. He enjoyed that relaxing presence about him, for it hid much of his actual feelings and intentions. It left him free to act as he wished without facing the burden of social scorn.
"The world is changed because you are made of ivory and gold. The curves of your lips rewrite history."
No matter what happened in his life, those words remained true in the end.
"It's of no surprise, as I'm quite new to this place," he spoke in a soft, friendly voice that sounded not unlike a purr. His hand made a simple gesture as he bowed in his place in what felt like a greeting. "I am Dorian Gray. The new professor of fine arts."
The gesture, being polite rather than over-friendly, set Niko a little more at ease, and he offered a small bow in return. "Niko Siannis, the new sociology professor. It's nice to meet you."
He settled into a chair, crossing his legs neatly and resting his hands in his lap, and took a moment to admire the garden. "This is a lovely place, isn't it?" Perhaps, with everything else going on, his instincts were simply on the fritz...
"Sociology. A fine science, that," Dorian commented in an off-handed manner, his voice a contradicting mixture of apathy and curiosity. He did enjoy the field, but his mind was nowhere near a scientific discussion right now. Too much effort for such a day.
"A pleasure to meet you, professor," he spoke as he leaned back onto the bench and wrapped his second hand around the cup. "It is a gorgeous place, is it not? The students here are quite fortunate to have received such a garden."

Niko took a long, unhurried sip of tea, leaning back a bit into his chair. "Teaching here should be very pleasant, I think."
