I’m a Halloweenie

Last night was Halloween, one of my favorite holidays usually, but this year I just couldn’t get it together. I didn’t carve a pumpkin (though my family and friends did a wonderful job, and I did make pumpkin seeds), I didn’t put together a costume (I wore a ‘Cheap Ninja costume’ black long-sleeve shirt Julie bought for me, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have worn any costume at all), and I just didn’t get into the spirit of it all. Even our normal street we do our trick-or-treating on was lame this year (and corroborated by others). Oh well, you’ve got to have a few lemons there once and a while, I supposed.

halloween, gripes, self-flagellation
