I went through archives/cardboard boxes filled with my dad's photos on the pretext of cleaning up for chinese new year. my dad is chinese educated, so he has subtitles of each photograph of chinese words like: "ha, ha, ha. why so glum." and another picture of him suntanning with a british girl that's half nude. and him hugging girls in the disco. my 1970s grunge dad is definitely cooler than 2000s beer belly dad.
