Perfectly moody, but not too dark. I can feel Logan's resentment at the X-Men, but you didn't overstate it. I also like that his exact feelings for Rogue aren't perfectly clear. Lust? Love? Bit of both?
This part:
"And as I banged into her that day in mid-summer just hours from the Mansion, I discovered something. I had no scruples. No morals. Because I was going to fuck this girl as long as she would let me. No matter how old she was."
Effective and concise. Wow, very nice!
Logan must go back to Westchester! I like seeing BAL (BadAss Logan)in something more than smut scenes. True Wolverine, in my mind anyway, won't care what the XMen think. Maybe he resents himself just as much for allowing himself to be run off. What will he do once through the mansion doors again? Old flames can still burn after 10 years and if it's had all this time to fester and now the memories "burn like it was yesterday"...oh the sequel possiblities!
I implore you, I beg of thee...give us a sequel with some BAL!!!
(on a side note, nice job w/ Gambit. You didn't over do the accent and even though they aren't really buddy-buddy in comicverse, you made me see how it could happen)
