Fic: Sleeping Dogs chapter 24 (Xmen Alternaverse)

Summary: Rogue could almost taste his presence. Feel his hands as he guided her through the postures, see the bead of sweat making its way down the planes of his back as he turned away from her. She had to blink to chase away the fantasy: he wasn’t here yet. He might not want to come with them. With her. She had left him for dead, after all.
I was hoping it would be Chapter 24/25, but about 6000 words later, my beta Bancainte shook her head at me and broke it into two and a bit chapters. She was right, of course, and it now means I'll be able to update frequently, since I have that mythical thing, chapters up my sleeve!
