I do tend to enjoy life drawing... there's something about the human body that mystifies me and makes me crave discovery through art. That painting is called Identity and is suppose to be a rather androgynous depiction of a sullen figure who's nearly featureless, dark face symbolizes a lack of Identity. I'm gender queer and have always felt nonexistent because of my inability to fit into the expected norms... I guess that's the background on it. (I'm not really one for analyzing my work.) And, as I said, it's my first and only serious attempt at painting, so it's nothing spectacular. Other than life drawing I tend towards comic-like drawing. I actually just started a new comic strip, and if I ever get it to a worthwhile place I'll post it.

I've managed to take one art class, though it was only a pre-course for the advanced digital arts classes that I never managed to take. I'd give a lot for the chance to go to art school... but I'm too poor for that endeavor. But seriously, your work is gorgeous!! Also, I'm in love with your nutticons. I started a series of cartooney icons once... maybe I should get around to finishing them! You've inspired me! lol
I also have my bouts of creative writing bursts. It normally happens in November. Have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo? If not you should check it out HERE. Last year I managed to complete it, but I don't know if I'll be up to it this year. Maybe, who knows!?
And, no, I don't have my photo's online. I pretty much leave the photography to my best friend. The stuff I do is extremely amateur, so I generally stick to snapping pics of my pups... haha!
