Fanart archive?

Do you suppose you could make a Fanart archive? I know you like really good art so I thought spamming the main wall with random drawlings would get to you, I suppose. Or maybe just an archive where we could have post dumps (say, a video archive where people could post endless NiChu videos that we could all fangirl over, like MADs and such *w*) for these main topics of fanart and fanfiction? I just thought it could greatly clean up the main wall of posts that aren't soopur speshul, or something... XD

I think we could use...

-a fanart archive
-fanfiction archive for the non-kinky but still NiChu works by members
-video archive for all the NiChu tributes~
-outside link source archive for works not done by group members or works posted on other websites

And maybe we could have links to NiChu groups on other websites, like dA, for instance?

I actually really like that idea, and I think that there are a couple members that have already started up lists/archives/rec's like that.

For example:
xblkdragonx has a DOUJINSHI set (but then again, so does kecen)
sushiyou has a VIDEOS link list (but I create new entries for videos that I make, and blindalchemist has recommended an individual video)
exotification has a ARTWORKS link list (that no one ever checks out...! D:)
xotsukiyume has a FANFICTION archive as well (but it's super-selective)

And we already have a link to the NiChu group on dA; that's on the profile part of the community.

To sum it up: I really like your idea about steamlining the various non-original posts, but I'm not too sure how to make it work fairly. Do you think I should delete everything and then start from scratch? What about deleting the ones that have less recommendations, and then asking the mass!recommendation poster if they would mind tacking on two/three more works? And what if someone thinks a work is great! but other watchers/members disagree

Well, I got the idea when looking at the links section. I think having separate places for fanart, fanfiction, videos, downloads and the like would help organize rather than post things by how much people like something or not

Well, if you'd like, we'd be happy to link to your NiChu archive on FFN (we have a link to the Nichu fanpage on dA as well... I'm working on making it more noticeable). I think that it's great that you guys already have a list going, and I'm loathe to repeat someone's (already very thorough, by the looks of it!) work.

As for the other things, I think it's a really good idea, but it's finals week next week, so please pardon me if I don't do anything until after; although my grades (except for conceptual engineering *hatehatehate*) are "alright", I still feel like I need to study. But I'll try to have some sort of archive after then, promise! :D

Aw man, I feel for you. Come January I've got OGT's, midterms, moar tests-- *splodes* Do your best studying, but I suggest 15-min fanfic reading breaks every hour. l:I *shot* And by then I should have a little surprise for the community (by January or later, I mean). X3
