It seems there was an influx of Shinsengumi while I was unconscious. I'm tempted to think that perhaps the owls are enjoying themselves at my expense... surrounded by shogunate dogs without an ally in sight. Gintoki is loyal to no cause, these days... but perhaps that's for the best...
