You were fighting a bunch of puppets?

[Sano's logic skillz: Not so good.]

Fighting...

No, of course not. These are simply useless dummies no doubt meant to represent my followers.

So why are they all busted up, then?

japansnewdawn April 3 2009, 06:27:47 UTC
Because I broke them.

But weren't they supposed to be your friends?

They're obviously not my friends, however. I will not let them be made a mockery of in this way.

But if a mockery is all we have of our loved ones, shouldn't we treasure that?

Of course not! It's insulting to their memory!

[Woops. Sano accidentally hit a sore spot.]

Why would it be insulting, if you treat them with reverence? Besides...It's better than nothing.

...Well, I'll take what I can get.

Feel free to do so. I certainly don't care how you chose to conduct yourself.

Katsura-san, have you looked for your friends who were in Sieben? I've heard mine around the temple...

I haven't a clue where they might be. I suppose Gintoki may be at home, but Takasugi spends much of his time in Kyoto to avoid the authorities, and I am certainly not going to go looking for that mayo-addicted officer.

Oh, all right... I thought maybe you all lived close together, like...well, not like us exactly, but you know.

Gintoki and I both live in Kabuki-cho. I suppose you could consider that 'close,' not that he'll have anything to do with me most days that bastard... We have not been especially close since the end of the war.
