I do get a big kick out of it when the kids enjoy the materials I make for them. I try to find pictures that are humorous but easy to understand, or at least pretty to look at (like classroom items or clothes). The teachers appreciated my efforts, especially since I left them for my old school (all nicely color-coded and organized). ;) However, I had a huge shock yesterday when I was about to reprint some of the materials I use the most and realized I had somehow lost the data. Not one of the pictures was remaining, and I finally got so fed up with trying to find the pics again that I gave up, and paid for a subscription to a really good clipart site. At least I've now found what I needed to replace right away! *sorry, rant's done...* There are a few of us foreign English teachers who take some pride in our work! But now, with the schedule, I can understand why the previous English teacher left no materials behind - he didn't have any bloody time to make any! (The stuff I threw out was a bit old, and badly organized, which is the main reason I threw it out). I hope the spring frogs are serenading you!
