Osaka Mexican Fiesta

I feel like my area constantly has foreign culture festivals.  Celebrations in Chinatown, festival of foods galore, German Christmas markets, and Mexican Fiestas.  It's kinda cool!  A couple weekends ago I went to one of those many festivals... the Mexican Fiesta, to be exact.  It was almost everything I was expecting it to be: goods for sale, lots of color, cool performances, aaaaaand... TACOS.  Oh my gosh TACOS.  The festival even went beyond my expectations with some sombreros thrown in and speeches in Spanish.  Cool beans.

Just look at this beauty.  It's a beautiful taco. Seasoned chicken, SPICY salsa, and... cabbage? 500 yen well spent. Mmm, so tasty.
The food stands also had burritos which they served with chopsticks instead of forks (uhhh), chips & salsa, and some cinnamon donuts (yum).  My friend and I ate our tacos while watching some of the music performances with wind in our faces.  It was quite breezy under the Umeda Sky Building.  I took a video of one of the performances we saw.... unfortunately the wind drowns out the sound, especially the Spanish speech at the beginning:

It was too windy to stay so we browsed the gift stands and left after that. You can see my photos from the day and also my trip to the Pokemon Center that we went to afterwards here in my gallery. Why YES I did buy a Pikachu plushy.

Oh my goodness I want a taco now...
