where the cool kids are

Yay, back to normal-sized photo posts. ^o^;; This'll be much quicker to type up and post...

Before I get to the Harajuku pictures, here's a shot of everybody watching the World Cup match between Japan and Australia from a week or so back. :D Holy cow, those girls were WAY louder in their reactions than ANY guys watching the Super Bowl. Oh, and Liz (our Australian exchange student bud) made Australia bread and biscuits. Spiffy!

Heh, this didn't come out to well, but at least you can see the big huge torii behind me at the entrance to the Meiji Shrine! Tweety-chan and I stopped by here once we arrived in Harajuku, before we went out on our huge shopping bananza. XD 'Twas fun.

I even got to cleanse by hands and face and stuff with the water there and coolness. Reminded me of the baptismal font at our church. :)

After checking out the Meiji shrine giftshop (so much stuff I want to buy there. 0o0 I'm totally going again to get people omiyage), we headed over to *don don don* Takeshita street! So many shops filled with every kind of style of clothing or accesssories. ^o^ I didn't get anything fashion-related, actually, but I did happen to get...A SHIINA RINGO POSTER!! 0o0 0o0 0o0 YAAAAY~ I've wanted one for so long...

Oh yeah, and a trip to Takeshita street in Harajuku wouldn't have been complete without eating one of their famous crepes. ^o^ I LOVE JAPAN'S DESERT FOOD. LOVE~

Back to another week of school, but next weekend Teresa and I will be making our 2nd trip to Ikebukuro and 5th trip to Akihabara. XD XD XD YAY COMICS~ I'll have more photos of those places, hopefully. ^_^
