Well life lately has pretty much been...work. Its karma from my half of summer of nothingness. Its really not too bad though, this paycheck is going to be pimp, and I'll get it once I'm at school which is extra nice. Luckily I HAVE ALL DAY FRIDAY OFF. I would really enjoy doing something fun if anyone had any ideas. Alum during the day? partytown at night? I'm up for anything, so throw some ideas out if ya want.
For those of you who don't know I move in to my dorm the 1st of Sept. A week from this friday which I'm really excited about. I'm ready to start getting my life organized again. It seemed like at school I had a nice mixture of school, "work", fitness, and fun, while here I just havent found that balance. I've become much less in shape over the summer, which kinda kills me because I spent a lot of time getting in shape this past school year. Here I just never have the emotional drive to work out. Working 10 or 11 hour days probably doesn't help, but its still kinda a bummer. I also just havent been healthy. Since I stopped being physically active I stopped having and appetite and started skipping meals because my body would not allow me to consume food. It kinda freaked me out. Also when I do eat its usually crap because I usually eat on the run. Hopefully things will come back to normal once I get to Athens.
Well Jetta Jr has pretty much been a little bitch. The check engine light keeps turning off and on and I started hearing a little rattle as I drive. So now I have to drive it to the dealership to get it fixed before I leave for school. Also I never used the AC because it smells pretty rank. It just pisses me off. You buy something like a car from a certified dealership and you'd expect things to run smoothly. *grumbles*
To top everything off my cell phone no longer gets service...anywhere. Being disconnected from the world kinda sucks. Its just one more thing I have to get worked out.
NOT EVERYTHING SUCKS THOUGH! Snakes on a Plane was amazing. It was so nice to see a movie that I enjoyed but didn't have to psychologically think about or emotionally invest anything in. Good. Plain. Fun. Also I really don't hate my jobs. AE is really a good working environment with fun people, including the wonderful Katie Goo, who I've been seeing a lot lately which is great. I have a whole week with free nights, where I expect to see lots of people and just chill out before I head back. I plan on having many lunch dates or ice cream runs or whatever so I can see everyone I want to before I leave.
Alright well thats about all. Another pointless boring post. To sum everything up...OFF. FRIDAY. FUN. MUST. HAPPEN.
THE. END.
