(no subject)
So my roommate had the TV on the other day (don't worry this is NOT another rant) and I hear good ol Ben Folds. I perk up because 1) The sounds of Ben Folds is on the TV, which is rare 2) Because my roommate usually only watches ESPN or CMT. Well I look up and its this animated little ditty with "Landed" playing in the background of a nice little father and son, its nice, its a commercial...I was a little disappointed. Then the end comes and I find out its a HILTON commercial. I become more disappointed. Probably just because of Paris Hilton I have lost respect for the entire Hilton chain, even though she was nothing to do with the hotels. Then I stopped worrying because I realize, well at least Ben is a self proclaimed sell out and if I've learned anything from "Thanks You for Smoking" its that you gotta pay the mortgage. So rock those suburbs Ben and make that money.
In other movie related news (that none of you really care about) "The Nothing Man", which is the short film Jo and I worked, on made it into the Athens Film Fest, which (although in Athens) is still an international film fest. They also made it to the second round of the Regional Academy Awards....pretty exciting.
