I use proxy services to order things from Japan, and usually I use a translator to get the general idea of a condition of an item.  I've taken a few Japanese classes, however I am nowhere near being able to decipher what this image says.  The image has descriptions of the condition of items, and I need help with the translation ( ... )

I'm not sure if this has ever been posted here or not, but I found this book at the junior high school that I teach at in Hokkaido. It's called 日本人知らない日本語 and like the title implies, it's about Japanese the Japanese people don't know about. It's a very interesting and amusing read, that both Native Speakers and students with an N4-N3 JLPT level can ( ... )

Sorry if this is old news, but I haven't used Yahoo Japan Auctions in about 7 years, and I've even avoided looking at it, as if it didn't exist. But now it looks like it has done away with monthly fees and transaction fees on buyers bidding under 5000 yen.
