ah, basic painting. how i do enjoy waking up on wednesdays and have my only responsibility be put on a pair of sweatpants and work in oils for four hours. the fruits of my labor have been a painting of a banana, an apple and um... myself (subject matter decided for me). hope i don't let my grandpa down, he used to do amazing oil paintings...

oh MAN, i always thought it was "like a desert's missed train" and was baffled at how it made no sense. you have made everything clear for me now. (wow, i'm dense.)

my friend thought "hold me closer tiny dancer" was "hold me closer tony danza" when she was little.

i can now no longer listen to that song with out thinking of my boy tony.

i pondered that. but i was hoping the shock of seeing such an antiquity coupled with the sheer heft of my device would prevent them from also lifting their firearm.

Simmilarities- my iPod broke too. (perhaps when they release a new version some man pushes a button and most of the old ones stop functioning?... or do I sound to conspiracy theory?) I posted an oil painting on my face on... the book of faces. Alas, mine was not a self portrait.

PS. My iPod also died one day. But, when I say died, I mean that it just decided to delete all of my music.... on the same day that my computer crashed and died. I was sad. But, then a few days later, all my music was resurrected on the iPod. It was very strange, but I'm not complaining. Don't give up hope. Maybe your iPod will come back to life...

I love your paintings - you definitely have a knack - I'm amazed at your grasp of dimension and the self portrait is so good - love your hair! You definitely have your grandfather's talent genes. He would be proud of you. LOVES Mom :o)
