Every Little Thing's Mochida Kaori Talks About Her Solo Activities

Every Little Thing's vocalist and singer-song-writer Mochida Kaori is performing at her first solo tour this year. At the end of August she had released her second solo album "NIU".

"The word is the term coined for "breast milk". Lately the people around me who have become mothers has increased. It's when I realized that being breast fed is the first kind of communication between humans. A dialogue is something important in this generation, therefore I wanted to write about the dialogue between mother and child." Mochida explained the title.

To create the way of how people receive the music, Mochida did not use the male word "Boku" for "I" amongst the challenges with trial and error. "Lately the lyrics are coming to my head together with the melodies. However, because of the songs I sing with ELT, the sound modulations cross at times", Mochida revealed laughing, as she had also worked with a great number of composers this time.

"As always, I am still having a lot of spirit for ELT. Yet I also want to create a work which I can interweave with my own everyday-life", she commented and conveys the feelings she had towards her solo career.
