Japanese jazz singer JUJU will be releasing her first cover album on September 29th. The album, “JUJU sings BEAUTIFUL WOMEN,” will contain original covers by the vocalist of famous Japanese songs.

JUJU has already released the song “Hello, again~mukashi kara Aru Basho~.” It was chosen as the song for the Sony Digital SLR commercials featuring Keiko Kitagawa. The song itself is a cover of pop group My Little Lover and will be included on the cover album. She will also include a cover version of pop singer BONNIE PINK’s “LAST KISS,” and due to tremendous fan requests, she will cover Every Little Thing’s “Time Goes By” and Shiina Ringo’s “Gibbs.” The cover album will have 12 tracks total, all personal favorites of JUJU.

The album will be produced by Seiji Kameda (Tokyo Jihen), Shimada Masanori (Shoko Nakagawa), and Matsuura Akihisa. With JUJU at the helm, the cover album is sure to turn out beautiful.
