Singer Michiru Hoshino (23), a former member of AKB48's Team A, announced during a solo concert on Saturday that she is taking a short break from her music career.
Early on Sunday, she wrote a blog entry titled "Thank You," revealing that she has left her management agency, AZ Entertainment. "I want to try hard to start again from scratch," she wrote. As a result, she will be out of the spotlight for a while.
Hoshino graduated from AKB48 in June 2007 and became a solo artist. This past April, she released her first mini-album, titled "Sotsugyou."
