JUJU beats World Cup theme song and Kimura Kaela
Singer JUJU’s new song “Hello, Again ~Mukashi Kara Aru Basho~“, which began distribution on the 16th, debuted at number 1 on major distribution company’s Recochoku Daily Charts. The song has remained at #1 since it’s debut, beating out Kimura Kaela’s hit song “Ring a Ding Dong” and also the 2010 NHK Soccer theme song “Tamashii Revolution” by Superfly, which zoomed up the charts due to its popularity.
“Hello, Again ~Mukashi Kara Aru Basho~” is the hit song My Little Lover released in 1995. JUJU’s cover version was used for the Sony digital camera (One-Eyed Alpha) commercial starring actress Kitagawa Keiko.
