In 3D: Koda Kumi live performance on SKY PerfectTV // Idoling!! new single to have 3D footage
Koda Kumi 3D Live Airing - "I want to make this an awesome day!"
At a recent interview in Tokyo, it has been announced that singer Koda Kumi's live performance on July 4th at the Yokohama Stadium will be aired live and in 3D on SKY PerfectTV! The 3D live airing of a music performance will be the first in Japan as well and Koda said accordingly: "I want this to be an awesome day with all the fans at the venue as well as the fans at home in front of the TV with this very first 3D live performance in Japan. For me this is a live, where entertainment is even more important, so I'd be really happy if even people who can't make it will watch the live."
She then added: "This year in December, I will be looking back on ten years since my debut and I think this is one of the new things I want to challenge in the future too."

Idoling!!!'s New Single Will Be Featuring the World's First Music Footage on a 3D DVD.
Today in June 9th, idol group Idoling!!! have been releasing their new single "Me niwa Aoba Yama Hototogisu Hatsukoi", which contains the first music related 3D footage on DVD. Within the first press limited edition, the DVD contains 3D live video footage of their hit song "Don't be afraid" and can be watched on TV sets supporting 3D, showing 20 girls' formation in dancing and singing as if they were jumping out of the screen.
Group leader Endou Mai praised the DVD with the words: "It is great how realistic this has gotten. It is like being in the actual place, really." Asahi Nao added to that: "The choreography had been arranged for the use in 3D, therefore the members appear more three-dimensional without overlapping."
