I know it's a major reason for why idols don't get married for a long time, to keep an illusion to the fans that they can get them or something. But I never really believed in it.

You know what WOULD be interesting if they researched? why the women feel compelled to "retire" once they get married. Or why shotgun weddings are so incredibly popular in Japan.

it pisses me off. A woman is perfectly entitled to have a successful career and be married at the same time.

I thought Hiro was taking abit of a break to be with his Mrs this year, & I only knew of Matsujun being up for the role of that drama, I guess I don't pay too close attention.
We can't really know if they have a gf /bf or not, unless its uncovered, I wonder what the fans are thinking when they talk about past dates and loves etc on tv, radio and magazine interviews ...

it depends on the person and age, but perhaps japanese girls took more serious with their fandom.. thank god they didn't kill themself or doing something stupit. maybe girls want their idol look like the way they are in the girl imagination. they have their own hyperreality about their idol and when the idol got married they just lost that. so they are now meaningless to them, just an ordinary rock not a star anymore
