Exile Evades 300 Million Yen Worth of Taxes

Mar 24, 2010 21:47

Tokyo's Taxation Bureau claims that LDH, the management company for popular musical group Exile, did not file their taxes during the two-year period from 2007 to 2009. LDH has evaded over 300 million yen worth of income. LDH's president Hiro (original name Igarashi Hiroyuki), is also the leader of Exile.

A spokesperson from the company has issued a statement saying they immediately got in touch with the bureau to rectify the error.

They insist that they did not have any intentions to conceal the information, and did not do so to gain any benefits for the company. All the members invested in LDH when it was established in September of 2003. In 2009 the company earned over 10 billion yen.
