Horikita Maki visits Imado Shrine to pray for personal love and success of her upcoming movie
On the 10th actress Horikita Maki visited the Imado Shrine in Tokyo to pray for some personal love and for the success of her upcoming movie "Dareka ga Watashi ni Kissu wo Shita ~Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac~".
The Imado Shrine is a famous place to pray for a successful love life and marriage. It has a history of almost 1000 years (opened in the year 1063) and even was the birthplace of the now worldwide popular beckoning cat, a figure that is supposed to bring a thriving business. Horikita and 10 other women who are currently in a relationship made a special charm and prayed for a successful love. After the prayer they picked some Omikujis as well. Omikujis are strips of papers that you can find at Shinto shrines. They have certain fortunes written on them, it’s like a lottery for a good fortune. Horikita was quite happy as she picked one with "Excellent Luck".
Looking back at the love prayer, it seems like that Horikita is definitely seeking a love life as soon as possible. "I was quite nervous during the ceremony, but I hope that it will help me ending up in a nice relationship. I still haven’t found the right partner, but I will try my best to get a love life."
