Oricon Charts: Yamapi has the #1 single & B'z #1 album of the week

Tomohisa Yamashita topped the charts this week with his new single, "Loveless." It sold 194,000 copies to become his second #1 solo single, after "Daite Senorita" in 2006.

FUNKY MONKEY BABYS charted at #4 with their latest song, followed by The HIATUS, YUKI, and Superfly. New singles from MISIA and Miliyah Kato ranked #9 and #10, respectively.

On the album charts, B'z achieved their 24th number-one album with "MAGIC," which sold 341,000 copies. This extends their record of most #1 albums, putting them further past Yumi Matsutoya (21 albums) and Seiko Matsuda (18 albums).

Kou Shibasaki landed at #2 with her fourth album, "Love Paranoia." Also in the top ten were Aya Hirano (#4), Miyuki Nakajima (#5), and American artist Lady Gaga (#7).
