the pillows celebrate 20th anniversary
The popular Japanese rock band the pillows celebrated their 20th anniversary with their first ever concert in Nippon Budokan! The concert took place on September 16th, the very same date that they had formed the band.
The concert was titled ‘20th Anniversary LATE BLOOMER SERIES 06 “LOSTMAN GO TO BUDOUKAN”’. Tickets were fiercely contested and sold out in just 10 minutes. 10,000 fans flocked to Nippon Budokan to celebrate the very special day. The well thought out set list included hit singles from their early years and all the way up to their recent releases.
The band performed a total of 28 songs in two and a half hours.
