On October 29th, techno-pop unit Perfume held the final round of their “Perfume Dance Contest ~Miseyo, JPN~“. The ladies improvised a dance collaboration of “GLITTER” with the winning group.

Nishiwaki Ayaka (A-chan) commented, “It was fun,“. Kashino Yuka (Kashiyuka) also said, “It was very fun!”

Out of 500 entries, the winning group ended up being a five-person group called ‘Shushoku Hyougaki‘ (ice age of job hunting)’. The group performed an original dance dressed in a suit and glasses. Omoto Ayano (Nocchi) praised them saying, “Since we went into judging, their name rose to the top. The structure and choreography were wonderful; there was a storm of praises. I applauded and even shouted in the middle of their performance. Everything was amazing. It was wonderful!”

The dance contest started when Perfume saw videos of fans copying their choreography on video-sharing websites. Over 500 groups posted their dance videos on YouTube. After reviewing the submissions, 10 groups were chosen as finalists.

At the end of the event, Perfume performed “GLITTER” and “Chocolate Disco” in front of 1,000 fans.

“GLITTER” can be found in Perfume’s upcoming single, “Spice“, scheduled to be released on November 2nd. On November 30th, they will release their forth album, “JPN“, and will hold a nationwide arena tour at 11 locations starting December 1st.
