Kamiji Yusuke receives an original sketch from Kishimoto Masahi at “NARUTO - Blood Prison” premiere

On July 30th, singer/actor Kamiji Yusuke (32) held a meet-and-greet at the premiere event for animated movie “Gekijouban NARUTO - Blood Prison-”.

Kamiji, who sang the theme song for this film, was extremely happy and touched when NARUTO’s author Kishimoto Masahi drew him a colored illustration of Naruto. As a fan, he said, “I am really happy about this! I will definitely put this up in my house without a doubt.”

Actor Kamikawa Takaya (46), who voiced the mysterious character Maroi for the movie, was also happy to receive a drawn picture of Naruto as well. Commenting on the original manga series, Kamikawa said, “This work perfectly portrays friendship, effort, and victory - themes which its weekly magazine, ‘Shounen Jump’, focuses on.” With this, the audience gave him a big round of applause for his insight.
