On June 28th, actress Toda Erika attended a campaign press conference in commemoration of Mini Stop’s “Soft Cream Vanilla” winning the gold award in the Monde Selection.
As the image character of the brand, Toda said, “It has been a dream of mine since I was a child. I’m nervous,” as she challenged herself to making soft serve ice cream for the first time. Her first try was unsuccessful, but the second time around she was somewhat able to shape the soft serve on the cone. Toda cheerfully added, “Maybe I’ll work part-time at a nearby Mini Stop when I don’t have work.”
Mini Stop renewed their soft cream for the first time in 10 years and won the gold award in the food product category for the internationally known, “2011 Monde Selection“. Toda commented, “It is refreshing, mild, and rich, like milk. I really like this soft cream, so when I heard it won the award, I was both surprised and happy.”
The Mini Stop campaign that is full of splendid prizes, such as a trip to the Bonin Islands, will be held until July 18th. Also, Mini Stop will be holding a 50 yen off safe for soft creams from July 1st to the 3rd.
