Kamiji Yusuke to voice act for “NARUTO Shippuden”!
tokyohive previously reported that Kamiji Yusuke would be participating in NARUTO’s 8th film, “Gekijyouban NARUTO: Blood Prison”.
Today, it was further revealed that he would take part not only in the film as a singer but as a voice actor in the television series (“NARUTO Shippuden“) as well. Regarding this, Kamiji stated, “It feels a little odd to take part in ‘NARUTO’ as I have been watching this series before, but I am truly honored to take part in this film as a voice actor.”
This particular episode will air on August 4th, titled “Seinen to Umi”.
Kamiji will play the part of “Yusuke”, a character who was created with Kamiji’s image in mind. “Yusuke” is a young fisherman who made a resolution with his life to kill a monster who crushed various boats in the sea, including his father’s.
In the episode, the monster shows up once again, and Yusuke meets Naruto during this chaotic setting. Kamiji said regarding “Yusuke”, “His hairstyle looks a lot like my previous one! But I am glad that they were able to capture my characteristics so well!”
