Last week, Nikkan Sports revealed the results of the winter season of its 14th Drama Grand Prix. Surprisingly, the big winner was the 9th season of “Aibou,” taking three of the five categories.
Voting started on March 3 and continued until March 16 - despite the Tohoku earthquake - collecting a total of 2,248 votes. As usual, the winter awards were conducted early in preparation for the overall annual awards, but Nikkan Sports has announced that it will not hold the annual awards this time due to the effects of the earthquake.
