Aya Hirano: Prohibited From Acting in New Anime Works
Aya Hirano reported on her Twitter account on Thursday that she has been under orders that prohibit her from acting in new anime since last year. (She does not say who prohibited her, or why.) However, she said that she is thankful to still have some anime roles, since she can still continue acting on series with second seasons or extended runs.
Among others, she still plays the roles of Shizu in Maria Holic Alive (the second season of Maria Holic), Lucy in Fairy Tail (in the anime's second year), and Garnet in Jewelpet Sunshine (the sequel to Jewelpet and Jewelpet Tinkle).
