UVERworld’s upcoming single chosen as theme song for anime
Click to viewPreviously, tokyohive reported that UVERworld would be releasing a new single “CORE PRIDE” on May 11th, and recently, it was announced that the new single has been chosen as the opening theme for upcoming anime “Ao no Exorcist.” The anime will start airing on April 17th and is currently an ongoing manga on Jump Square, written and illustrated by Kato Kazue.
The vocalist of UVERworld, TAKUYA∞ said that the song became synergistic between the world of UVERworld and the world of the anime.
As the follow-up song for “CORE PRIDE”, they will include “UVER Battle Royal~Keta Hazure mix~” which they mixed their previous songs (and instrumental songs). For the limited edition version, their live video from Fukuoka DRUM LOGOS which was held in December 2010 will be included.
