V6’s Okada Junichi expresses thoughts about earthquake at “SP Kakumei Hen” stage greeting
Okada Junichi, member of the popular all-male group V6, was at a stage greeting on March 26th for the movie, “SP Kakumei Hen“. The film, which stars Okada himself, is based off an adaptation of a popular Fuji TV drama of the same title.
During the stage greeting at Tokyo’s TOHO Cinemas SCALA-ZA, the focus shifted to the state of northeastern Japan, which was devasted by an earthquake and subsequent tsunami just two weeks ago. Okada then shared his thoughts about the current situation:
“I think positive energy is the most important thing right now. Little by little, smiles should return to faces. I want everyone to do what they can, and I [and the staff] pray for a speedy recovery for everyone“.
