See, I've been impressed by this as well. On the other hand I just had a discussion with someone today and he was shocked at how calm the Japanese seemed to be. He thought they were insane. But then again, I really can't stand that man. :X
yeah. Well, in Israel we don't have a thing such as a normal line on a regular day so you can imagine what happens when there's panic. He's used to that as norm and the fact that they're so "calm looking" disturbs him. :| Sad but true.
Although I already had a good grasp on Japanese way of handling things, I've still been impressed by them. I fully believe Japan will come out of this stronger than ever. ♥
they have been through alot and they have taught (through culture/edu) how to handle such situations
i hope they will overcome this crisis soon they r very peaceful people,full of creativity and kindness u can see all prayers/sympathy for japan from the whole world
as someone i know said when he saw tsunami: we will learn a lesson from these people..on how to handle this..they will surprise us as usual

The time to fall down and cry is once everyone is safe. Which I am sure people will do once they and everyone else around them is capable of doing so.

Their supermarket also immediately distribute food supplies from their rack to all that was stranded.
